The presumption that MacArthur makes is that these biblical authors had the same conception of “truth” that the post-enlightened MacArthur has. My question to MacArthur is this: Would pre-Enlightenment biblical writers think of truth as “an objective reality?” Or, would they rather think of “truth” as something that they have seen and experienced?
I don’t understand. Who said objective truth cannot be seen or experienced?
Here lately it seems that anytime MacArthur clearly proclaims the Word of God someone is quick to “minister questions, rather than godly edifying”.
2 Peter 1:19 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”
MacArthur’s book The Truth War is an important book. Thanks for doing this. Things such as once for all determining if a man is a false teacher are not subjective or obscure, or an argument for scholars. We have truth. The video ministers godly edifying on the subject of our unassailable foundation.
