I know almost nothing about John Calvin or about the doctrines he believed and taught as a whole. However, I do believe in the “Doctrines of Grace” (many have labeled as “Calvinism”) whole heatedly. Am I a “Calvinist”? I don’t rightly know. Did I believe the “Doctrines of Grace” before I learned who John Calvin was or what “Calvinism” was? Yes.

Why am I commenting to this? Cuz I wanted to be the first to do so. ;)

ditto….I also, and I think many others scattered throughout the world, have experienced the same simple obedience to the only plausible truth. It is amazing how the true doctrines of grace are so vigorously denied and beaten back by the world and the church. Only in the devine providence of God alone can one understand the meaning of the word SABBATH. Stop the work. No other foundation can be laid than that which is laid. Now biuld upon that foundation from appreciation and not wantonness. To label it “Calvinism” is a reproach to God, and would be sharply condemned by Mr Calvin himself were he able to speak.
