An Audio Bible Designed to Illuminate the Story of Scripture
The ESV Symphony of Scripture is a full-length ESV audio Bible project designed to help listeners experience the Bible with fresh depth, beauty, and clarity.
Over 100 Hours of Original Orchestral Music
The words of Scripture are accompanied by an original score written by film composer Grant Fonda and performed by more than 200 professional musicians. The music is carefully sculpted to every passage of Scripture.
Tracing Musical Themes Through Scripture
The orchestral score features richly developed musical language, including more than two dozen unique cues and leitmotifs. Listeners will recognize recurring melodies highlighting major Biblical themes.
World-Class Narration & Sound Design
Every book is narrated by the late Jubilant Sykes, an award-winning musical performer. Alongside the primary narration, the project will also feature a full cast version bringing Biblical scenes to life in an ensemble recording.
